From b13a2dfd424a9a20f424f9614c992ad63a957ad4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kyle Meyer Date: Sun, 5 Apr 2015 16:27:34 -0400 Subject: Give in to Transient Mark mode I tend to use C-SPC for pushing a position to jump back to later much more than I use it to highlight a region, so I prefer to disable Transient Mark mode and use C-SPC C-SPC to temporarily activate it. However, it seems that lispy depends on this being on for its mark commands to be useful. So try to get used to C-SPC C-SPC to set a mark without activating. If I can't get used to that, I can try something similar to this: http://www.masteringemacs.org/article/fixing-mark-commands-transient-mark-mode --- lisp/init-general.el | 1 - 1 file changed, 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'lisp') diff --git a/lisp/init-general.el b/lisp/init-general.el index 7b2f95c..757b50d 100644 --- a/lisp/init-general.el +++ b/lisp/init-general.el @@ -68,7 +68,6 @@ (show-paren-mode) (global-auto-revert-mode) -(transient-mark-mode -1) (key-chord-mode 1) (provide 'init-general) -- cgit v1.2.3
